IT Business Analyst/QA Tester - ( AS00044P )DescriptionJohnson Space Center is NASAs hub for human spaceflight. On the Jacobs JETS contract we provide a wide range of engineering and technical services to NASA at the Johnson Space Center. Come join our team and contribute to the future of humanity in space!We are looking for an IT Business Analyst/QA Tester to collect and analyze requirements, document, and test software applications and systems.The selected candidate for this role will:Serve as the liaison between stakeholders and the development team.Meet with stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document their business requirements, processes, and system goals.Document existing software, database systems, and processes.Create functional and non-functional requirements, models, use cases, process flows, diagrams and charts, and other documentation to provide direction to developers.Analyze/research user requests for possible changes or defects.Ensure developed solutions meet customer needs.Develop test plans, test cases, and test data based on requirements.Design and maintain automation test scripts.Perform production verification to ensure production implementations are functioning properly.Perform other duties as required.QualificationsRequired Education/Experience/Skills:This position is posted at multiple levels. Depending on the candidates experience, requirements and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.BS degree in a computer or system science discipline from an accredited college or university and a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive, relevant experience, or a MS degree in a computer or system science discipline from an accredited college or university and a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience, or a Ph.D. degree in a computer or system science discipline from an accredited college or university and a minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience.
