What we're looking for: An experienced web developer to build a site where verified members can pay to have their niche, registered product advertised for sale. (However, the sale of the item will not be transacted on our site. We are just providing a service where a verified member can purchase advertising.) We need someone to work on this site from scratch. The project will be based on the WordPress WooCommerce platform. We need the following deliverables completed by February 1st: - E-commerce function where association members can purchase advertising for a specific period of time (February 1st) - Internal notification of purchase transactions (February 1st) - Ability to approve or deny each advertiser (February 1st) - Ability to approve or deny each advertising listing purchased (February 1st) - Bio of the listed advertiser, including photos(s) (February 1st) - Uploading of photo(s) to display advertised listing (February 1st) - Listing of approved adverting with a thumbnail of a profile photo (February 1st) - Individual, detailed view of a selected advertised listing with full description and larger photo(s)(February 1st) - Layout and design to match our existing association website, which is not elaborate or complicated (February 1st) - Search function for listed advertisements that can be searched for by up to 5 identifying criteria (February 1st) We would like the following features, but they are not required at any specific time: - Verification of current membership status upon checkout (Not needed by February 1st, but desired ASAP) - Verification of advertised product serial number registration upon checkout (Not needed by February 1st, but desired ASAP) - Member tracking metrics to report on the number of views and clicks of each listing for private reporting purposes but not to be displayed publically (Not required, but nice to have) - Moderated rating and reviews of sellers (Not required, but nice to have) - The ability for a visitor to contact a seller directly from the site via form submission (Not required, but nice to have) To complete all the deliverables, the right developer will have experience in the following: - WordPress development - WooCommerce In your proposal, please share a brief summary of your experience and tell us about a recent web app you worked on.
